Marcia's Story
Hi Everyone,
After high school, I went to Boston University where I studied biochemistry, and then lived there for several years working as a lab tech at Harvard Medical School. (I really really did not like working in the lab--too isolated. I started talking to the rats.) When the snow finally got to me, I moved to San Francisco where I started my career in banking.
I transferred down to L.A. to be with my family, got married and moved to Oceanside where I still live today. I've been divorced for many years :( but I have two incredible kids :), a boy, Blaine 15 and a girl, Bryce 14.

ture and writing, and taught English Composition. I also freelanced for the SD Union Tribune and got a short story published.
When my kids started school, I went back to work as a banker, managed a branch and worked in the small business and real estate industry.
I just finished my first novel, Banker, losely based on my experiences working with family-owned businesses and the events leading up to the real estate boom and subsequent crash. I'm looking for an agent, but I haven't quit my day job, yet.
I still play the violin, but most of my free time is spent hanging out at wrestling and volleyball tournamets, waiting for the kids. Teenagers are a trip!
