Marcia's Story
I lost my husband of 42 years last October. I had been married to Phil Calvert for 30 years and live in the hills of Yucaipa, near Oak Glen village. We don't have kids just 2 dogs named Bella and Annie Max. We have several nieces and nephews and also have grand nieces and nephews that we love to spoil! I was a teacher/administrator for San Bernardino Unified for 34 years. I retired in 2006. tired and doing things we never had time to do when we were working. Life is good! We are each other's best friend and we are in a very close committed marriage...Phil is the love of my life and the best thing that ever happened to me, Love you Honey!
The Pendleton fire caused us to be
mandatoraly evacuated...very scary, the dogs and I were in my car for 6 hours before we could return...no damage to our home, thank God and the firefighters, but I NEVER WANT TO DO THAT AGAIN, my psyche couldn't handle it, PLEASE NO MORE FIRES !
