Marcia's Story
I married directly after graduation and had 3 children by the age 27. 2 girls and a boy. I divorced in 1991. I have 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandsons. All but 2 live close to me.
I spent most of my working years in electronics. (Tektronix, NEC, Intel, OMS, Innovacomm, RadiSys). I've done everything you can from soldering to supervisor and planner. I built most of my own computers except for the laptop I have now.
I attended Phoenix University for 1 1/2 years during 2001 and 2002.
Now, I am retired and love not having the stress that goes with MFG. I still have places I want to go, people to meet, and things to do.
I am looking into classes at Chemeketa college on Web design. I still need to learn and what better way than something I really care about.
I continue to have interests in art.
Places I would love to see are Alaska,
Italy, and Australia.

of it to family and true friends, then spend the rest on traveling, a home with land, helping homeless teens and create an animal refuge.
My dress style is casual and comfortable. I don't pretend to be someone I am not. I have never been into material things. I think family and friends are more important. You can't replace them once they are gone. I believe everyone has a right to express how they feel or believe.
I would love to talk with Mr. Meyers again. He treated me with kindness and understanding in the 8th grade. Those of you from West Union should remember him. I was teased a lot in school because of being both poor and very shy. He made sure I was included.
I know my friends from school would remember me as quiet and not really fitting in with any crowd. My friends I have now will tell you I am a true believer in loving and treating others with respect. When I leave this world, I want to be remembered as such.
