I don't pretend to be someone I am not. I have never been into material things. I think family and friends are more important. You can't replace them once they are gone. I believe everyone has a right to express how they feel or believe. I would love to talk with Mr. Meyers again. He treated me with kindness and understanding in the 8th grade. Those of you from West Union should remember him. I was teased a lot in school because of being both poor and very shy. He made sure I was included. I know my friends from school would remember me as quiet and not really fitting in with any crowd. My friends I have now will tell you I am a true believer in loving and treating others with respect. When I leave this world, I want to be remembered as such.
