Marcia's Story
I went to St. Francis School of Nursing, grad 65 and next day moved to California with new husband. Had two sons, born in 12/66 and 1/68; divorced in 76, remarried in 84 to Dick Cooper; we've been together almost 30 years now and married 25. I worked in ER for 22 years, then hospice for 13, and retired at age 59 after knee replacement. I'm very happy being a computer wife now. y. We were in Illinois earlier this summer but not down to Peoria; I have't been there in many years. I have no one there except in cemetaries. I have 2 granddaughters ages 7 and 15 and my husband has two ages 2 and 4 so together we have 4 beautiful smart granddaughters. Life is good at this stage of our lives. We have a small home in a Los Angeles suburb, are Angel baseball season ticket holders, and feel that we are living the good life.
