Life
2006 update: After 19 years out-of-state. we're moving back to California in late July 2006! I will be an Avocado Farmer in LaHabra Heights, CA, tending over 50 commercially producing avocados trees on our 1.13 acre property up in the hills (the west extension of the Chino Hill, I believe!) See you all at the next reunion--- but this time I'll be a local again!

We've lived in three states since leaving San Francisco, California, in 1987 (Phoenix, Arizona 1987-93; Madison, Wisconsin 1993-96; St. Louis, Missouri 1996 to current)! And in a each new state, I seem to "reinvent" myself---medical technologist (CA) to graphic designer (AZ) to designer/model (WI) and in Missouri, actor (now doing more gardening, travel and home improvements than theatre).

pportive and for enduring all of the moves (husband's career choices) is that now I now longer answer to any employer for my monthly salary (I'm the handyman, the gardner, the job supervisor, etc for our own household... does that ake me a domestic goddess?! My hours are flexible and the benefits are great.)
Our house is a 1916 brick Gerogian revival home in an historic neighborhood in University City, MO, with a fabulous lot (and constantly changing gardenscape) and wonderful, friendly neighbors.
This is our third residence in the St Louis area in six years. But I always look forward to moving again because it means that it will be at least 1-3 years before the threat of packing up and relocating AGAIN becomes an issue! sigh.(but at least I've never had to redecorate because we're tired of the look-!)
