Marcie's Story
I moved my senior year in 1975 to Olney Il (home of the white squirrels). I spent Christmas in Illinois and then came back in 1976 to graduate in Durango. Which will always seem hometown me. I married Grover Lynn dicks on July 21st with Teri Helen-Whalen as my maid of honor. Thad Turner was the best man. We were married at the chapel on top of the college. We moved to Olney in 1977 while I was pregnant with our daughter, Brandy.Lynn A beautiful person inside and out. 12/22/77. Derek Justin was born 4/27/80. Lynx and I travel back and forth from Illinois to Colorado for several years. In 1984 we separated and I came to live in Illinois till now.
In 1986 I was blessed with a son. Grant Matthew Bradley was born on may 2. I stayed single for 4 more years when I meet a wonderful man Randy Warren Janes who has always lived in Illinois We were married on July 30 1990. He adopted Grant about 5 years later.

arried a school social worker. Brock They have a 3 year old daughter, Perta Quinn who is way too smart. She knows English and Spanish as well.
Our son Derek married a beautiful girl Tessa. She owns a dance and gym studio. They both enjoy working with the children.
He is a youth paster and works part time at a health equipment store. They have two sons Judah 5 and Ezra will be 3 on December 29.
Grant lives in the same town that Randy runs a body shop. He is a plumber apprentice and should have his license in about 1 1/2 years.
I have been retired from the postal service. I am so glad I don't have to face that weather every day. All my kids live here I just love spending time with kids and grand kids.
All my family lives in California ,Texas and Delaware We try to get together as much as possible. We maybe having a reunion in Durango next year. I still miss the mountain but I figure this is my wilderness experience. I hope all my friends are doing well. I think of you often
