Marco's Story
Life
Since good old Bedford High, I attended the Universities of Akron and Cincinnati, obtaining a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering. I lived in Shaker Heights until 1985 and then moved to Stow, where we currently reside. I have worked at the architectural and engineering firm of Dalton, Dalton & Newport (now part of URS Corporation) and then Goodyear Aerospace (now part of Lockheed-Martin). I was married in 1984 and have two boys, both attending Kent State majoring in different types of computer related fields. e F-16 aircraft flight simulator and the younger, Greg, graduated in the top ten of his class of 500 at Stow-Munroe Falls High School. Greg also made us proud when he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the boy scouts. In 1985 I started my own company, MAI Computing, Inc. and have been working in the computer industry ever since. My hobbies include golf and toying with and racing my 1979 Mercury Capri that I bought when I graduated from Cincinnati. The car has been modified from a stock 145 horsepower from when it was new to a dyno tested 377 rear wheel horsepower now. (No such thing as too much horsepower.. :-)
