Life Hi all! After BHS I went to live in Monterey with my folks for a year then down to San Diego for a year. Finally got some direction in life and attended the Maritime Academy in Vallejo, CA and graduated in 1983. Started to work for General Electric in the Bay Area. Did a lot of work on both Naval vessels and commercial vessels as well as large power plants and distribution systems. Got bored of the Bay Area and moved back East to Boston and worked in the Turbine and Gear Division for GE in Lynn Mass. Got a call from a academy buddy and Quit my job at GE and my wife and I moved to Lousianna to construct a large fishing vessel to fish in the Bering Sea (Alaska). Constructed the boat and we sailed her around the canal and up to Alaska. We did that for a couple of years. Then went on to work as an marine engineer/naval architect in Seattle for a year(starting to sound like I can't hold down a job!!!)Left that company when an associate from the fishing boat days needed and engineer to design, build and operate a processing plant in Alaska.
