Marcus's Story
Life
I am married to Robbin and we have three children, 8 grandchildren, and 1 great grand-child on the way. I have lived in Illinois since Sep 1983, and in Waukegan since Nov 1995. I left Des Moines for the Navy in 1974 and stationed in San Diego, CA until 1978. In 1979 I moved to Naples, Italy. I returned to Des Moines in 1982 and began working for Xerox Corp. which lasted 14yrs. I am currently an Employment Specialist for Waukegan (Illinois) Township assisting Lake County ex-offenders find meaningful employment. I am also an ordained Minister with Shiloh Baptist Church where I serve as Assistant Superintendent Childrens Department, Sunday School Teacher, and Bible Study Leader. I also conduct Bible Studies and Worship Services at the Lake County.
