I believe everyone was born to lead in some form or fashion. Its about learning what you were put here on Earth to do and follow that." Marcus is a 2006 graduate of Miles College. He recieved his Bachelors of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. After matriculating through Miles College, he went on to study further studies at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. It was there that led to a love for health and fitness. While at Life University Marcus learned of his mother and father needing open heart surgery in a matter of 7 weeks apart. That course would be life changing for Marcus.It lead to a move back to Alabama and a lifestyle change. While back Alabama, Marcus pursued a career in Microbiology and has excelled greatly in that area. He also became an advocate for health and fitness. Marcus speaks on health and fitness through the Team Beach Body platform. He is also an active community leader. Marcus is married to Kristi Laister and is the father of two children. They reside in Birmingham,Alabama.".
