Life
Boy, has it been that long? Almost 30 years ago graduating from Carl Sandburg. Time flies, so I guess I am having fun. I have been married for close to 27 years to a former Sandburg-er, Gary Para, a 1971 graduate. We have been living in Kentucky now for close to 20 years. We have one son, who is 12. We have 2 horses, 5 dogs and 3 cats, maybe 4; there's a stray hanging around the barn. I have my own business now, what started out as a hobby ...Expand for more
has turned into a full time business. I design molds for casting sculptures (horses are what I specialize in) in ceramic for artists. I also make my own casting slip. My husband is retired from our automotive repair business, we ran our own business in Orland Park for many years, then moved down here and had the business for a while, but it was time for him to retire.
I have been blessed with a super husband and son, I wouldn't change a thing.
