I always wanted to be a great mom when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a wonderful idea. As it turns out, they were right!. I enjoy in my spare time, reading,sewing,gardering,quilting,spending time with my family! My Dad has always been my hero & I just recently lost him. He packed up a wife & 5 young children & took them from the only life they knew & brought them here to the US & gave us a new life that included a whole new family! All of us Brittish kids were friends in one way or another, at different times & in different places in our lives & we all found a substitute Aunt or Uncle in the grownups. It was very difficult at times but it all worked out in the long run. My Dad fought hard to give us all a good education & a better chance at a good life than what he thought he had to give us if we had stayed in Scotland. I love & miss him very much. When I first married I lived in Greenwood, but after having 2 baby boys in quick succession & a step-daughter every-other-weekend we had to find a house.
