Margaret's Story
Back in 1967, I was that girl who was the concertmistress of the Carroll High Orchestra, and I played in a few other groups locally. Jump ahead by a few years, and I was the first WAC graduate of a particular school of the U.S. Army.
It was in that class that I met and eventually married my husband. We recently celebrated our 40th anniversary! My civilian schools include: Del Mar College, Texas A& I University at C.C., and Corpus Christi State University. I hold a Masters Degree in Interdisciplinary Studi...Expand for more
es (English, psychology, and communications). and did a little teaching. I have one offspring, my daughter, who lives in East Texas with her husband and their two children. Though I've lived in diverse locations (including Massachusetts, the D.C. area, and Houston), I've always come back to the general Corpus Christi area; and although I do not now live right in Corpus Christi, my husband and I live nearby and I am in the city frequently. Goals that I still have include getting my PhD. -- yup, even at my age!
