Life
Still married to Dan, two married daughters. One Grandaughter. I still look young. I am a Community Relations Director for a Christian non-profit retirement community. I do fund raising, public relations, marketing and advertising, & grant writing. My building is on the State and Nat'l Register of Historic Places. I have a good friendship going with the family of Ransom E. Olds, who used to own our historic bldg. Highlight of my career: I have spoken at a national convention of Activity Professionals in SanDiego CA in 98. 1n 2000 I received the Positive Media and Community service award for the State of Florida for the best job of positive media and community coverage. I live two blocks from the Ocean, two blocks from the Halifax River. I ride Motorcycle with Dan during Biketoberfest and Bike Week, I am active in the Living Legends of Auto Racing, and have recently been selected to join "Leadership Daytona" which is a group of professionals from the area who take an 18 w...Expand for more
eek training class to learn all about how our community functions. Dan is still Dan. He has his head shaved and wears a gold earing and calls himself Mr. Clean. He has an old Dodge van that he is decorating with weird things all over....He has his own cleaning business and does sub contract work for other companies. It's hard, .but Jesus never lets us go...he always steps in at the last minute. I worked in Grayling for 15 years in a hospital lab, and Went to work at a physical therapy facility and it was refreshing We got to Florida traveling doing a program for children at schools, churches, libraries and community events. We saw a lot of real poverty in Alabama, Dan (who is a diabetic) got very sick and I had no family to help me with his care. Our daughters, Anne Marie and Lynette were here. Dan had been working for Wal-Mart in Alabama, so they transferred him here. I have been with Olds Hall Good Samaritan for almost eightyears now, and I love Florida! Phone: 386-672-9492
