Margaret's Story
Hello everyone, I attended Eagle Rock High until my parents moved us to San Fernando during my Senior year. yet I have always considered Eagle Rock as my Alumni Class. I think this was because Life time friends were made there. If some may wonder who I am, I'm the English student who was honored to write "Silence is Golden, Stay quit, and see how rich you can get." More than 5,000 times. Needless to say I was never very quit.
I married my present husband James in 1972, I was already divorced and a mother of three children. James and I have worked together through out life, owning 4 businesses, the last one which we retired from June 2014, after 23 years, which was a specialty automotive service center here in Fort Myers, Florida.
We moved from Simi Valley to Florida in 1979.
We are currently enjoying retirement, yet still raising the two girls we adopted, the oldest is in college, the youngest is in high school.
We are looking forward to meeting up with many of you at the 50th Alumni Reunion. The last one we attended was the 10th. We all looked a little older and were a bit wiser then, So it will be interesting to see how an additional 40 years has treated each of us. Blessings to All, and we'll be seeing you all really soon.
