Margaret's Story

I actually moved from Durango to Dove Creek, CO after my freshman year at Smiley. Was there one year and moved to Moab, UT gaduating in '63. Married a man from DC right after graduation and moved around the country with a construction company and ended back in DC in '67. We bought a small ranch in Montrose in '72. I divorced after 21 years and four children. I was single for SEVERAL years and married in 2000. My husband passed away in '07. Now I am a widow and trying to sell my house and scale down. My children and four grand-children all live here in Montrose, so I am happy here. I was pretty shy in school, but I got over that quickly once I started working with the public. I love people and like to enjoy life.
