Margaret's Story
Life
I can't believe its been 30 years since graduating from high school. The years have gone by quickly, good years. I have been married now for 28 of those. My son Jay Marsh is 27 this Sept. My husband and I live in Sedalia where I have called home for the past 28 years.
I have worked for 3 doctors in the past 17 years. I've enjoyed OB units with moms and new borns, taken care of eye patients, and working for the last 2 years with 5 surgeons. I always wanted to become an RN but when I married my first husband for 4 years I put that part of my life on hold. Little did I know my son would come so quickly. The rest was going to every sporting event that Jay tried, and time flew. My second husband Dan is originally from Sedalia and graduated from Sacred Heart here in 73. Hes been a great role model and took Jay on as if he was his own son at age 3. We celebrated his marriage to a beautiful girl from North KC last Jul...Expand for more
y 15. Shes teaches kindergarden, Jay works for the KC Sporting Commission that Lamar Hunt and Ewing Kauffman began. I'm having fun with my new daughter in law and her family.
When I'm not working or in KC you can usually find me 9 months of the school year giving voice and piano lessons 3 days a week at my home. I also direct the Sacred Heart Choir during the school year. I cherish summer as I always have , beening a beach or sunbum. I love to travel to new islands, and have met great friends from all over the world doing so. Well I should probably stop here but hope our class can get together again soon, or possibly go in with another class reunion as there are so many people I haven't seen in years. When you think you've grown up and then lose your best friend as I did with Kathy Heinzler in 2001 you found out just how precious life is and how valuable your friends are.
