Margaret's Story
Three+ years ago I retired from the Univ of Mich (admin asst) after 32 years of service, cleaned out/packed up/gave away most of my things, and moved to Edinburgh, Scotland. I had come over with a girlfriend to visit and hit it off with our host, Robin. One thing led to another and now, here I am! The thing is, life is short and I always have believed in following your heart, so it was not a difficult decision for me. I am very happy here, although I do return to Michigan for visits.

town and have even wandered down into England (smile) -- there's much to see and do over here and I hope over time to see and do as much as I possibly can.
I get teased about my accent, though I tell folks we Michiganders don't really have an accent -- they don't buy that though. :)

Since 2010, I've been in England. Sadly my husband Robin passed away but I have been so lucky to find new love and am very happy now, living in West Yorkshire, England (in the north of England, close to Leeds and Manchester.
