Margaret's Story
I've been married to Jeff Averill since November 20, 1965. We have lived in Matthews, NC since 1978 where we raised 2 children: Kevin an ER doctor that is retired and living in Boise, ID and Maria lives in Matthews, NC, and works for the public school system with children with disabilities. We have 2 granddaughters, Kara and Kristy and in January were blessed with a great-granddaughter, Lilly. h he still retains some of his client base and I'm retired from nursing and education. Now that our granddaughter has returned to work I care for Lilly during her work hours. We both enjoy good health, some travel, volunteer with several agencies, church and community. Last time I was in New York was summer of 2017 to clean out and settle the estate of my parents and brother. Both of my parents and both brothers (Richard - Dick - Washburn and William - Bill - Washburn) are deceased.
