Margaret's Story
Life:
Hi, well who would have thought that I would have spent 20 years in the U.S. Army?! First in the Woman's Army Corps, then in the Regular Army. It was a surprise to me too, but there you go. Now I'm retired from the Army and am a software engineer. I have to say the pay is much better. I still work with the Army, supporting Military Intelligence software, so I still go to the field, but now I get to stay in hotels. I live in Germany now, and should be here for at least two more years, ...Expand for more
probably longer. When I finally get around to really retiring I'll go back to Sierra Vista, Arizona where I own two houses.
2014-Well, I'm back in Arizona! Got rid of one house, so I only have the house I live in to worry about. Retired from my second career, and am now back in school full time. Retirement doesn't seem to agree with me! Will look for a part time job after the first of the year - when I get back from DisneyWorld where my niece and I are both running the Enchanted 10K in Feb.
