Margaret's Story
I have retired and moved to Wickenburg, AZ and love the cooler weather and laid back atmosphere. I have taught in 3 different areas, Longview, White Center, and Lake Havasu City, I enjoyed each area and many friends and wonderful students that I am still in contact. I was adopted by one of my students and now have 4 grandchildren who of course are wonderful and smart, just like everyone has and loves.
Through out my career I enjoyed many different facets, coaching at the high school level, volleyball, softball, and even boys baseball. I enjoyed it all and the...Expand for more
great players at levels. I taught US History and Language Arts at mostly middle school and 5 years at the high school level. In Washington I was involved with politics, which is no surprise to most and when I moved to AZ I was on the city council for 7 years. Now retired in 2014, I am involved with local events and have a radio show. I am learning to relax and doing quite well at not working and doing a million things all the time.
