Margaret's Story

The sweetest word that I love to hear is "Grandma" and then, probably "Hey, librarian.!" I still commute everyday to north Dallas to INSPIRE middle school students! It's always challenging but I love helping my students learn how to research great information and then create technology projects. Learning new, creative ways to teach "something new" on the computer is always exciting for me. I have my Bachelor of Education and Master of Library Science from Texas Woman's University. y family. It was so challenging for me but I knew that I wanted to be a teacher- classroom elementary teacher for over 25 years and then a librarian for almost 20 years. I have also worked part time at 4 different public libraries in the DFW area. I'm thankful EVERYDAY for my relationship that I have with my loving Savior. He has continued to lead and guide my life in such tremendous ways! I can't wait for our 50th reunion in October at the Marriott Courtyard (near the Killeen Mall).. Margaret "Page" Simmons.

She made me quite happy after not having coffee in over 24 hrs. fyi- our electricity was out over 24 hrs.
Well God came through for me again. I renewed my Google Educator Certification, Levels 1 & 2 the past two weeks. I do have big dreams of helping other educators.
