Margarita's Story
When I attended MHS my closet friends at that time were: Lupe Moreno, Cecilia Sanchez, Frances Rodriguez, Mary Moreno, Juanita Sanchez , Evangelina Hernandez, Laura and Angela Cobos, Yolanda and Carolina Holguin, Linda Reyes. Lost tract after I moved from Midland. And of course, also lost tract of my male friends. I worked in the medical field from 1972 until Aug. 2007. Before that I workedfrom 1964 until about 1968 for Dr. Dorothy Wyvell, pediatrician in Midland. Then as a nurses assistant at Lea General Hospital in Lovington, N.M. had 2 sons. Worked as an LVN at Midland Memorial until 1976, in labor and delivery, when my husband and I moved to Lubbock. I stayed home for a year to care for my sons. In 1977 I went to work for Methodist Hospital in Labor and Delivery. Worked there until 1983 when I went to work for an OB-GYN doctor. In 1985 I lost my first husband to a massive heart attack. In Aug. 1986 I remarried and my husband's name is Lupe Elizardo, and have been married now for 28 yrs. I worked for Dr. Robert J. Broselow for almost 25 years, then I retired. God blessed me with 2 sons and now they have started families of their own. We have 8 grandchildren, ranging from age 22 to 3 yrs old.
