Margi's Story
Life is going well. So far I have accomplished everything that I have ever wanted to and am trying to figure out the next great adventure. My biggest accomplishment so far has been raising two awesome daughters and having two amazing grandkids.
As "retirement" looms in the distance, I think now is the time to simplify my life and start slowing down. Let the younger generation have their time to bask in the sun. I just look forward to traveling more and doing more of the things from the "100 Things to do Before I Die...Expand for more
" list.
The most profound thing I have learned in my 50+ years: That every decision we make today, no matter how big or how small, will affect our descendants 150 years or 7 generations in the future. Be the person you want your grandkids to brag about. And leave them laughing.
Update: Retired now. Moved to the beach & lived there 6-1/2 years. Decided I needed to live further inland & bought a house an hour away. In the middle of the Pine Belt with 100’ pine trees in my yard & working on a small garden. Life is good
