Margie's Story
Life
I live in Vacaville, a town in northern California, where it rarely snows. In 1993, I married Michael and became a step mom to two adult daughters. We are blessed with four grandchildren.
For 29 years, I've worked as a Marriage, Family and Child Therapist devoting my practice to individuals and couples-in- transition. Additionally, I specialize in the treatment of licit and illicit substance abusers. Recently, I began doing evaluations for the Department ...Expand for more
of Transportation. Individuals in safety sensitive jobs are tested for drugs and alcohol and if they test positive, it is my job to interview them and recommend treatment. It is interesting and less engaging than therapy, which sounds appealing after 29 years.
As much as I enjoy my life, I find it hard to believe any of us are really 50+ years old. Of course, getting into movies as a "senior" has its advantages.
