Margie's Story
Life:
2014--A lot has changed in 6 years since the last update! Tom and I will be married 41 years in January--time has definitely gotten away from us! Tom retired in 2011, and he is now enjoying his own time but keeps busy with lots of projects at home. Our son, Thomas has since changed jobs and now works for Holiday Corporation. He & Evy still have only the one son, Jayden, who started kindergarten this year. Evy graduated college last May and is now working as a CMA in a dermatology practice. They are still living here in Anchorage. Christy & Kourtney are still in Maryland. They have had two more children, both boys, Tyce & Tristan. Christy got her FNP degree last year and has been busy teaching and working and trying to keep up w/those 3 kids! Taylor is in 3rd grade now, Tyce turned 4 in March...Expand for more
, and Tristan turned 1 last April--a very busy household. Me, I'm slowing down a lot these days. Since 2009, I have been in and out of the hospital 5 more times, so it has taken its toll, especially this last time in July--sheesh! I'm old, what can I expect?! Lol! Grateful to still be around and hoping to be well enough to make another trip in February next year to see the kids and grandkids again. Life is still good, despite the health challenges--and I press on! I am looking forward to the next reunion, which looks like it will be next summer. It was so much fun at the 40th to see everyone again! It's hard to believe so many years have passed, and now we are all talking about our grandchildren instead of wondering if the school year will EVER be over and always waiting for the week-end to come! Ha!
