Life My Spouse I was living and working in Van Nuys, California..and my sister (remember Nora?) had moved to Boulder City, Nevada and her husband Ti Greene worked at Hoover Dam and another guy who had trained for the Hoover Dam job in S. Pasadena had also moved to BC, Nev. So, my sisters nextdoor neighbor was Richard and she told him about me..and she set it up for me to fly out to meet him...(ya know blind date?) He did write me a letter first to introduce himself to me..but, I had my own plans to stay in the Valley, so, I threw the letter away! Well, NOra was persistant and told me..that she wanted me to come out to Las Vegas and I did..well, It was kinda like love at first sight! honest..2 days after meeting him..he had written 3 times and asked me to marry him (on the phone)..that was in June of 1975..and he came and got me and we were married on Aug. 12th. 1975. So, this blind date was a winner! and we have been together for more than 25yrs.! There are some other funny details about us meeting..but, you get the jest of it, don't you?
