Margo's Story

To my friends from Satellite High School, I have been living in the ATLANTA area since 1976 after graduating from FSU. I moved here with my college roomate and sorority sister to work in the retail industry - such a long time ago! But after a short stint woking as an assistant buyer for what is now Macy's, I went into the medical field and found my calling. One thing led to another, and along with my husband, we founded what became a regional home health care company specializing in IV infusion therapy and high-tech nursing services. After only 6 years, we sold it to the largest pharmacy distributor in the country, and retired back in 2000! Now, Jerry and I are truly enjoying our lives which ...Expand for more
are filled with traveling, boating, and an immense amount of health care related volunteer work. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano, and have been taking lessons since I retired! I also still play tennis - what fun days those were at SHS! Jerry and I have been married for nearly 30 years and we have two fabulous children. Our oldest, Lauren, is 25 and is living in Washington DC. She works for the Dept. of HHS and is going to GW for her Master's degree in Public Health Policy. Our son, Alex, graduated from The Citadel last May with a degree in Criminal Justice. He landed a job as a police officer for the City of Lilburn, where we live. Hope to hear from you!
