More about Margo:"I have been married to Ken since 1964. We have 2 grown sons. We have 3 wonderful cats: "never met a cat I couldn't love". Favorite books are "The Shack" by Wm. Paul Young and "Forecast" by my brother, Ron Loe. I'm a romantic; I see beauty in everything and in everyone. I refuse to fill my head with the things that are wrong with the world. Instead, I pay attention, but I trust God will take care of what He can, and when He wants me to step forward, He'll show me what He wants me to do. I have been blessed with an amazing faith. I also have been around long enough to realize that things are seldom what they seem to be. I give the benefit of the doubt ...Expand for more
wherever I can. I am both blessed and cursed to have the ability to see both sides of an issue: if controversial issues were so "obvious", they wouldn't be controversial in the first place. My husband, Ken, and my sons, Kennie and David, are dearer to me than any possession I could ever name, and my friends and extended family and inlaws come in a very close second. I identify with cats--all kinds, both wild, feral, and domesticated. I respect their sense of love and desire to be left alone, or their need for affection, their feelings as to food and play, etc. They are so much more intelligent than some people give them credit for. I love a challenge, but I can get bored if things take too long, get too complicated, or I don't have time to do my best at the project. I'm a little bit old-fashioned, yet things like haircuts, clothing (if modest), and things that aren't morally wrong or outright dangerous--they are just not worth fighting over. Every generation has to make their own style, and isn't that what makes us laugh when we are older? My preference is for one-on-one friendships rather than large groups, and I absolutely hate meetings that don't accomplish anything. I love my age, gray hair (tho I have colored it again), wrinkles, arthritis, and all of it. Life is beautiful and there is so much to be happy about if you take the time to look and reach out to others.".
