Mari's Story
My life has been full of spins, bumps, curves and wonderful moments. The most recent turn came when my husband, an attorney, accepted a presidential appointment and we moved to the D.C. area.
I keep myself busy writing and editing newsletters for the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Before arriving here, I had edited newspapers, worked in radio and television, served in Gov. Mike Huckabee's administration ...Expand for more
in Arkansas, taught journalism on the undergrad and graduate levels and written numerous books and articles.
I have two grandkids to keep me busy. They're with my daughter in Vermont -- she's a jewelry designer and renovates old houses. My son is in the Coast Guard.
For those who may remember my family -- the Harvey-Farleys -- the rest of them are all out West now. I'm the only one east of the Mississippi. Go figure!
