Maria's Story
Life
After graduation I worked P/T and attended Bronx Community and Marymount College. I then got married and had one son who is now 30. I divorced after 10 years and returned to college and received a Bachelor's degree from Baruch College. My career started as a secretary and I moved up to my current position of Vice President in the banking industry.

radord National from 1974 until 1986 when the company I worked at was purchased by The Bank of New York. I have worked for the Bank of New York for 17 years in various capacities. For the past 11 years I have been a Vice President in the Latin America Division, responsible for the installation and training of our electronic banking software. The position enables me to travel all over Latin America and the Caribbean. I absolutely love my job.
