Maria's Story
Life
After beeing an exchange student at VHS for a year, I went home to Gavle in Sweden to finish school here, I had 2 years left. After school I started to work at Ericsson Radio Systems, and I was there for a year and a half. I didn´t like the job very much, so I started to work in a postoffice in January of 1986.
In september of 1986 I met the love of my life. Now we are married, and have 2 children. Malin was born in 1988, and Alexander in 1991. In the spring of 1993 we bought a little house outside Gavle, and we still live there.

Iworked there until the summer of 2005, when my department closed down.
In the fall of 2005, I started to study again, something I should have done many, many years ago. I am now going to become a nurse. Here in Sweden it takes 3 years, so I will be done in June, 2008. I already have a job as a nurse, and will start right after graduation in June.
In september of 2007 my daughter moved to an own apartment here in Gavle. I am really happy for her, even though I miss her a lot. It is really strange when your children become grown-ups, does that mean that I am getting old??? Because I don´t feel old...
