Maria's Story
Life
Will receive 3rd Associates Degree 5/05 and plan to transfer to UIS in fall. PTK member this spring. 3 granddaughters - 9 yrs, 4 yrs, & 3 yrs & 1 grandson 13 mos. Another granddaughter due in February 2008. Work full-time and go to school part-time --- not much free time in the last few years. Still at ICC for 17 years (helps with the part-time education -- no tuition to pay). Currently in the process of getting a divorce from 2nd spouse.

nce I was in here and updated "my story". I now have 5 biological grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild. 4 granddaughters now (11, 6, 5, & 1) 1 grandson (3) and 1 step-grandson (12).
Still working on that divorce - his health issues delaying that process. :(
I got that 3rd associates degree and didn't transfer to UIS after all too many years since I had econ and hated it then and that didn't change over the years. I am currently taking a web design class and I love it.
