My Life I was born and raised here in San Antonio, Texas. I attended JT Brackenridge Elementary School, Cooper Junior Middle School and from there went to Fox Tech High School. You could say I was raised" in the Barrio" Alazan Courts, Westside of SA. I have no siblings, I'm the only child. I was raised by a single parent. Times were tough, and as I see it now... Life was simple. After high school, I attended San Antonio College for /dental assistants. I found a job as soon as I was out of school, and my first job was at the Medical Arts Bldg.,downtown., and have worked for a dentist ever since. I assisted for many years and then moved on to office management/coordinator ,occasionally assisting when needed. I eventually quit my job to care for my mother(I'm the only child)in 1994, and have been out of the main stream of things since then. My mother died in 2002. I met my husband in 1973 in a parking lot off S Presa...ahahaaa... you just never know! Actually! when I saw him... I wanted to meet him so I could introduce him to my best friend! hahaa! Which I did! But, as you can see...it didn't work out for them . We married in August 1976. We have been married for 34 years. My husband went to Brack and graduated in 68. He's a Veteran and was drafted/Army. We never had children. I have remain friends with quite a few from Fox Tech! We usually see each other from time to time at parties, clubs and we visit each other and I hate to say this...but at funerals too. I recently lost a very dear friend (sister friend) Sylvia (Lopez) Diaz ...whom I met in my first year(soph) in school. She passed away in Jan 24,2007 and I will mi...Expand for more
