Maria's Story
Life
My life has been quite interesting and fulfilling. In 1985 I joined the Marine Corps; 1988 I graduated Valedictorian from FIDM and in 1990 graduated from AIU with a Business Degree; 1994 I became an author; 2002 obtained a Masters in Global Technology Mgt. and in 2004 a Masters in Human Resource Management.
I married in 1995 to my husband Harry and am the very proud Mommy of Darria and Elizabeth.
I left California in 1990 and moved to Nevada, started my own business as an educational instructor with the City of Henderson, and in 1998 went on board with my husband's company, Mirage R...Expand for more
esorts Inc, where I took assignment as a Divisional Training Manager for their Biloxi, MS Resort, Beau Rivage.
In 2000, I left the gaming world and became the Sales and Marketing Manager for The Sun Herald. In 2005 I relocated to Northern CA where I am the Regional Circulation Director for 3 newspapers.
Of all my accomplishments, motherhood has made the most profound mark on my life and it is by far the most rewarding. It is truly the title I was "gifted" with and the most difficult job in the world. My children are my "everything". They make me the student more often than the teacher.
