Maria's Story
Let's see where to I begin...After living in California for the past year, I will be returning to Connecticut by the end of the month.
My time in southern California was not in vain. I experienced so many different people and things that will stay with me forever.
I have been fortunate enough to have done a little bit of traveling outside the US and although California is part of our lovely country, at times It felt as though I was living in a foreign country!
The most exciting part was working for quite the character (literally). Having Mickey Mouse as my boss was great and ...Expand for more
my little 3 year old nephew loved it even more (sorry John Ryan).
The environment here is so relaxed that even in the corporate setting people wear flip flops, jeans and shorts to work! Try pulling that off in CT!!!
There are just so many things I would love to share but this short story would turn into a book. I will in the near future go into detail about most of them.
For now, I will say I am thankful for the many things I experienced, including the earthquakes and fires!
Oh and for the friends I made in CA, all I have to say is it was GNARLY DUDES!!!
