Maria's Story
Life
I am living in Seattle, Washington since 1987. I am married and have 2 boys (16 and 14). I have been unemployed for almost a year. After 18 years of juggling both career and family, I am finally a L.O.L. (lady of leisure), as some of my friends like to call it. I have been a "stay-at-home mom" for almost a year and I just love it. Yet, I am considering starting my own business hopefully within the next 2 years.

ountains and water. With this type of environment, we don't mind the rainy days we have to put up with during January/February. Another plus for living out here are our yearly vacations in Hawaii and Mexico which we try to visit during the rainy season. Not a bad life!
Both my husband and I still have all our family in New York, so we try to get to the east coast at least once a year. In the summer of 2004 we actually found time to vacation on Fire Island. We had such a wonderful time.
