Marian's Story
I live in East Meadow LI with my boyz, Jared (15) and Adam (12). I am the Director of Social Work at the A. Holly Patterson Extended Care Facility nearby. I made it through Francis Lewis, through SUNY New Paltz and through the U of P despite some wild times in HS. (Heads up; watch your back!) ouse and leave Atlantic Beach it was painful; when the boys lost their Dad at age 53 it was tragic; when Ken's family disowned the three of us it gave new meaning to narcissism and greed. When we landed on our feet, in our own house, with the boys doing well in school and making new friends, and me being appointed to the Executive Board to the Commissioner of Nassau County Department of Social Services, I knew that three people could do together what one cannot do alone.
