Mariana's Story
Life
Hi there, feel free to contact me to say hi :-) Particularly interested in those who participated in Honors English classes and music and drama activities. I also am looking for news of Mr. Marcus, former English teacher and tennis Coach for NWC, as I'd like to know how he's doing. I'm single with two children, living in the South End of Hartford, and work for the Connecticut Student Loan Foundation. Working with numbers. HA! ests are underground music and culture, reading, philosophy, traveling and parenting, among many others. I have continued to write poetry and have also showed my artwork at Open Studio in Hartford.
I think I was unaware of how good of an education I got at NWC and am grateful for the work of the teachers, particularly (again) Daniel Marcus. If anybody's seen hide or hair of the man, I'd love to let him know what a positive influence he's been on my writing, especially.
