Marianna's Story
I moved to Austin area Texas in 2006 after my divorce was final. We had three children in the marriage. It has proven to be a great move. I really love the area I live in - it's a mixture of weird and country. Austin is the music capitol of the world - there's always a lot going on.
My children are currently 17 (almost 18) a girl, 13 my boy, and my baby girl is 11 going on 12 (as she would say now). I have wonderful children!! No doubt.
I work for the Williamson Council on prevention of alcohol and drug abuse. It's a rewarding career with a vast array of services provided. I really love it and it was one of those God's will things that happen in my life all the time.
At this point I have learned to have an attitude of gratitude in what I have in my life. I know that God is doing what needs to be done in my life and I have learned to let Him take care of it.

walk the bridge over to dating again as I feel that I am ready to start. My marriage was what it was - like everyone else's there was wonderful and not so wonderful and the journey together ended after 16 years. It took 2 years to go through the process and it was extremely rough, but I did it and I am stronger and wiser today.
I joined this site because our 30 year high school reunion is coming up and a lot of information and people I once knew are on here. I am excited to be able to go to the reunion. Another God's will thing that has seemed to pan out with ease! It is really fun to reconnect with some people I really had fun with in my high school years but slowly lost touch with.
I am a happy transplant. The journey continues - it's just more southwest than before. Drop by and catch up with me if you care to. I am happy to reconnect or connect with someone entirely new!! Cheers!
