Marianne's Story

Life Posted April 1, 2006 [April fools day of all things]: Geez this is pretty tough. - Graduated 1969 - Went to college in Fresno; Gunnison, Colorado; and I’ve taken other college classes to enhance my career - Had several jobs but the one that led me to my current career was an Insurance Agent - I am currently an Investigator; I investigate and audit insurance agents and brokers in Washington State. I have been doing this for 18 years and still love it. - My greatest success is my son, Baron, he is a great kid [or I guess I should say, young man, he is 32 now]. He is married and living 15 minutes away with his wife Julie, they make a darling couple. I am single now and have taken back my maiden name that you all know me by. The name Azevedo is hard for the folks in Washington to spell or even attempt to pronounce. Lately I’ve been traveling as much as I can, being a free woman and all. Switzerland with my cousin in 2007. I’ve never been to Europe so I’m looking forward to that. Vacationing for the short term in 2006: I’m going to Scottsdale, AZ for 10 days; Santa Cruz for 1 week, but visiting relatives and Andree while I’m in California; and in October I am going to Mazatlan for two weeks, then I will have to keep my butt home to save vacation time and money for my trip to Europe. I love living in the Northwest, and no it doesn’t rain 360 days per year. Let’s see what else, I exercise at the gym at 5 am Monday thru Friday, not trying to get buffed just trying not to fall apart so I can continue going on vacations. The picture I posted was from November 2003….not that current, but I look pretty much the same. I’ve met some great people up here and have a tight group of friends that are funny and fun. I have a Longhaired Chihuahua named Paco, he is my main man. That’s it for now. Marianne Azevedo
