Marianne's Story
Life
I left Morrisburg after highschool and went to Toronto for school. I stayed in T.O. for about eight years, and had a blast. I did school (college and university) and managed to do a lot of travelling in Europe, I was even on tour with a punk band for a while. I decided that I needed a change and wanted to see more of Canada. I moved to Newfoundland on a whim ( I was travelling across Canada and decided to stay in St. John's). opportunity to live and work in Ireland. I worked as a bartender in Co. Cork. I did that for a year and briefly went back to Canada (I was there about three months) I then got a job in Boston, MA and have been here for the last four years. Go NAFTA. Now I'm taking things a bit easier in one sense, but I've never been busier. I gave birth to my daughter Alexis in March '05 and she's certainly been keeping me on the straight and narrow. We commute between Daddy in Boston and My family in Canada, at least for now. It's yet another adventure...
