not a blessed thing except maybe graduate with my class instead of getting a ged.
i wanted to go into the marines as a barber and when my tour of duty was over go into stage makeup and costume design but my mother forbade it as she did with most everything i wanted to do with my life. (mom always gave me a complement followed with a BUT....).by the time i was old enough to make my own decision i had the cinderella story going on. the dream boyfriend, engaged to be married and thinking about settling down and having a family. mom said dont marry him (the one time i should have listened to her-lol) but of c...Expand for more
ourse we were young and youth knows everything. well after a couple of divorces i look back and think. had i done things differently i probably wouldnt have my 4 beautiful daughters, and now the family i wanted then.
now it is my turn at 55 to tell my kids learn from my mistakes. enjoy your life, dont be in a hurry to settle down, get an education, make yourself a little nest egg, life can be good or very cruel, you need to be ready for everything. think about tomorrow, it will come, theres no doubt about it, whether you like it or not it will be here, and if it doesnt come, most probably neither will any of the rest of us.
