Marie's Story
Life
My husband Scott and I met through a Barrington Chamber of Commerce networking group. We own a computer company in Barrington and are working on putting an animal rescue network together. We built a house in Crystal Lake in 2002, where we now live with our daughters and our three dogs, Midknight, Sunny, and Pepper. In the past few years we have rescued ~30+ animals from rats to a wolf!
School
After graduating, I went to ECC for nursing. After being at ECC for a year and a half I decided to go to NIU to get my fou...Expand for more
r year degree in nursing. Then I was in a car accident, and ended up switching from nursing to pre-med. I became friends with some doctors and medical students and realized that the hours wouldn't work for me, so again, I switched majors. This time I switched to Clinical Laboratory Sciences and loved it. Then I met my husband and now I am a web developer and graphic designer!
College
After graduating, I went to ECC for nursing. Then, due to an illness, I ended up going to MCC for one semester. After MCC I went to NIU.
