Marie's Story
Life
After Augsburg, my family and I moved to Altus, Oklahoma. I think everybody else had cool assignments like San Antonio, Tx and California but we got Oklahoma! Hated it! Especially since I had to do my senior yr there. That sucked big time but what is a kid to do. From there I went to the University of Oklahoma home of the wishbone (for any football fans), Barry Switzer was the coach at the time and they had just come off an Orange bowl win and then after that it was down hill from there. Well I did three yrs there and went off to start a family but went back later to get my degree. Well that lasted all of 3 years and I have never remarried or had any other kids. My brother Michael and Adrian also graduated from the University of Oklahoma (yeah we like to keep it in the family). My Kids
My daughter's name is Marissa and she is a freshman in college! Can you believe it? I am so proud of her. So now I am at a point in my life where I am literally having to start over. I almost dont know what to do with myself. At first it was an adjustment and couldn't sleep. I was so lost that I didn't have to revolve my whole world around this lil person but now the focus was on my needs. What its time for me? Whoopeee. But seriously I do miss my lil one but she is becoming the person I hoped she would be and would have it no other way. She is the love of my life.
My Job
I am a District Sales Manager for a South Jersey newspaper company. I have been in the company for about 10yrs. I worked crazy hours (2a-10a) so that I could raise my lil one. Only by the grace of GOD was I fortunate enough to be able to do so and be able to provide for her. I am so very thankful.
