Life
Married Phil Terveer from Decatur,IN We were sent to Washington, DC by his employer Lincoln Life, then to Norfolk VA. Lived in VA Beach over 30 yrs. Phil took job as aide to Sen. John W. Warner for 8 yrs. We were able to meet personally many famous people, Barbara Bush,Bob & Elizabeth Dole,Ronald Reagan,Dan Quayle, Sen.Richard Lugar etc.Elizabeth Taylor once used my bathroom.He retired, we lived in Lihue, HI, then back to Kitty Hawk NC Four sons, one daughter,Nine grandchildren widowed, have traveled...Expand for more
extensively - Philippines, (son Steve in Peace Corps) Germany, Austria, Netherlands, across U.S. Hawaii, Mexico etc. I have worked for a law firm, Exec.Secretary for Republican Party of VA Beach, Administrave asst. to a priest. Pres. of VA Beach/Pr. Anne Jr. Women's Club. Chrmn. Mothers March, March of Dimes, Many civic and church committees.I am now retired, taking care of my mother who is 88 and lives with me. We have two very fluffy cats,Leroy Brown and Precious and one lady German Shepherd dog, Sheba.
