Marie's Story
Turned 71 this Feb. how can that be!! After H.S. I married (1969), div.orced (1978). Attended college, obtained a degree in nursing, I specialized in maternal/child nursing. I have many fond memories of working in labor and delivery and NICU. Retired from nursing in 2014. I remarried in 1979 and just celebrated our 42nd anniversary! I have Twin boys (46) and a daughter (39) and a son (38). 5 grand kids. Still living in the High Desert (Victorville). illy Phillips....RIP. Diabetes and Rheumatoid Arthritis is causing a decline in my mobility but my husband and I still enjoy Vegas, camping and short road trips. In two weeks going to an IL Divo concert in L.A. Working on my "bucket list" The pandemic derailed our plans to visit Hawaii this past March. Despite the ups and downs life is interesting and fulfilling. I have to give credit to my husband, my kids and grand kids, and of course my dog Jake for my happiness. I am still a huge animal lover and advocate, volunteer at local dog rescue. Take care of one another and make the most of each day!
