Marilee's Story
School
I attended 4 different elementary schools in San Diego. Hamilton, Johnson, Webster & Foster. From there I went to Lewis Jr.High, & Patrick Henry. I attended Henry for 10th and half of 11th grade. I then transferred to Hoover. I am still friends with Mrs. Madden who taught Home Ec, and she says her happiest teaching days were at Hoover.

s at lunchtime. I loved singing in Cardinelles, and when I get together with Annette ("Daisy") Barker even now, we still can sing several pieces from memory. My favorite teachers were "Coach" Mitrovich & Mr. Duitsman. I also liked P.E. in our senior year because we got to play all of the cool sports like archery, field hockey, basketball & tennis.
College
I attended both Mesa and Grossmont junior colleges. I got close to receiving my AA degree, but had to drop out to take care of family members
