In remembering those years at SSHS, 1968-1972, it was YOU that made it memorable and YOU that have been an intregal part of my life ever since. To Jane (Fuller) Rogers: We were best of friends from third grade until our sophomore year when you moved away. Even though our contacts have been sporatic since then, my heart is still entwined with yours; it's like time and distance have not separated that bond that was formed so long ago. Thank you, Jane, for the pure gift of friendship, then and now. To Rick Bettger: You were my first-ever date in my sophomore year and you treated me like a princess from that point on. Not only did you lavish me with gifts ( which you frequently placed in my school locker), but you also helped teach me to drive ( in the high school parking lot no less), took me out to eat during lunch hour, gave me a surprise 16th birthday party (across the street from the high school at Lynda Porter's), and because you were three years older, were the impetus for my Dad making you a list of do's and don't's as long as your arm. In the midst of it all, you showed me what a gentleman was like and became a true friend. Thank you for the care and love you gave to me.
