Marilu's Story
I hope I'm remembered for being fun and for being friendly to everyone.
I always wanted to be a musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was an impossible idea. As it turns out, they were right.
To relax, I need to be by the water, any ocean, lake or stream/river. I especially love stream fishing for trout, boogie-boarding & playing smash-ball on the beach at low tide!
The wildest thing I did in school? Took my parent's car when I was 15 and crashed it. My Bad!
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have freedom, beauty, and inspiration to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
I lived in Savannah Beach, GA from 1969-70 and then I moved to Lake Tahoe where I lived until 1980. I spent 1980-2004 in Santa Barbara, CA and am now back in the Sierra's.

ve happily ever after. Well, guess what? That's in fairy tales, I've discovered! I was married to the father of my 2 children for 13 years and then married for 16 years to my next husband. Who's next?
If I won $100 million, I'd give half of it to my family, then spend the rest on travel, an ocean-front home in Santa Barbara and a lake-front home on the East shore of Lake Tahoe.
My current age is 57. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be dead. I was so completely clueless.
I share my home with my dog, which I find absolutely beautiful.
In 10 years, I hope to be a published children's book author. I'm going to get there by hard work and perserverance.
My first job was at Rexall Drug Store in Newhall, where I got paid 1.25/hr to work the soda fountain. What I remember most about it is when my friends would come in for a cherry coke or a milkshake..
